2. When we got there the folks at the reception said that that price was only for 1 queen bed and they were happy to upgrade us to 2 queens for an extra $30.

5. When in Seattle you will see an abundance of fresh cut cheap flowers and our conceirge was more than happy to set us up with a lovely vase so we could enjoy the flowers in our room.

6. The Elephant & Castle Pub downstairs is one of our favorite happy hour locales in downtown Seattle.

7. The hotel lounge was comfortable and had a good happy hour, but there's also a nice Irish pub in the basement of the hotel with great beer on tap and decent pub food.
