1. I also found the reception desk very helpful - they offered me a map when I arrived, took my bags to and from the taxi and were generally very pleasant to deal with.

The bellman who was worse that the guy when we arrived was very verbal, telling us it's the holidays and it's generally a dollar a bag tip and 'put your hands in your pockets people' - now i'm a strong believer in a tip should be deserved and this man did in no way deserve a tip, purely asking for a tip rubs me up the wrong way anyway.

8. There was graffiti on the bedside table and I felt that our room in general did not equate to photographs of rooms shown on Hotels.
