1. the lobby smelled a bit musty and the only elevator was slow but our room was clean and cool.

We complained very harshly, but they could not care less, what we got was a 50 usd per night reduction - BUT THE POINT IS: SINCE WE PAID A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF MONEY CAN WE AT LEAST HAVE A DECENT SHOWER WHICH IS A SERVICE THAT PRESUMABLY ALL HOTELS EVEN POOR CATEGORY SHOULD PROVIDE???? Please also note that the lobby is very nice and modern and it is actually set between very good japanese restaurant and a cool bar - both of which do not belong to the hotel, you will find out.

5. The window air conditioner worked fine and cooled the room and yes was noisy as you would expect one to be - it felt good after being out and about in 96 degrees.

8. It was very cold in the room and the front desk said the heat only turns on if it's under 50 degrees outside (and it must have been 51 then because it was cool.
