1. Our second room was much better, however still a bit noisy - hammering noises came from pipes and indoor renovation on another floor.

4. The hotel itself is a little dated and the mattresses had seen better days but if you are just looking for somewhere to sleep and use as a base, you'd been hard pushed to find anywhere better at the price.

5. The roof deack area of the hotel is an added bonus and we took takeaway food up there and ate which was much better than staying to the room.

7. Our hopes for a better night were not met when the 'superior' rooms' toilet flooded beyond the bathroom, and we were woken numerous times from hourly banging on pipes (faulty heat system???) and horn honking from the street SIX floors below.
