However, against these good points must be weighed the horribly noisy air-conditioning, the worlds oldest elevator, dirty carpets on all corridors, bedrooms that were well past their best (although a reasonable size and clean) and a breakfast that consisted only of the cheapest, stickiest danish pastries and pretty basic coffee and orange juice.

2. Good points were the swimming pool area - clean and pleasant, with plenty of shade, the comparative nearness of the beach and boardwalk (about 300-400 yards), the nearby very reasonable and good car hire firm, Signature Rent-a-Car, the reasonably priced internet access and the good bus-stops very near at hand.

3. When a mix-up occurred with our billing, Everton was so kind and helpful and seemed like he genuinely would do anything to ensure that our visit was special and memorable for all the right reasons.

7. My mother-in-law checked into this hotel because it was one of the closest hotels to the hospital as well as the most reasonably priced.
