2. The pool was decent enough size-wise although they placed a rope across the middle of the pool so you couldn't do laps in it, although to be fair, with the sea nearby, why would you want to confine yourself to a pool.

4. The beach is two blocks away, there are a couple of other decent restaurants a few blocks' walk away and in the hotel proper, and south beach is about a 2km / 1m walk down the beach.

7. Not a lot of restaurants here, but walk a block east of the hotel (Collins Ave) and you will find a decent cuban coffee place (cafetera).
