1. All in all, if a person is looking for an inexpensive place (after all, in a beautiful place like Kauai, who wants to hang around the hotel.

If you're not looking for much more than a clean and convenient place to sleep (and with so many beautiful places to see in Kaua'i, it's all you need), Kauai Sands and its location can't be beat for the price (which you should shop around - we found that price varied widely on different booking sites).
