1. We got a great deal on a package vacation through Expedia so were able to land a flight, hotel (room upgrade to a 'partial ocean view') and rental car for a reasonable price.

8. We hope Hapuna Beach Hotel management recognizes that they may soon be losing many loyal customers if they don't invest into the Hapuna Beach Hotel, while we hope they will remain reasonably affordable and realistic.

9. We chose not to dine at any of the two properties as we do not believe in hiking prices to heal thyself on unsuspeccting tourists ($58 pp for Friday 'Let's Go Crabbing' buffet at Hapuna Beach Hotel is hardly reasonable).
