1. and worst of all, just no personal attention or 'aloha' -The breakfast staff , and the bellhops/valets are the exception - they are the warmest most beautiful people I have met in Hawaii, and the breaksfast is they most outstanding & delicious display you'll ever want - its great -But we were sad to see the hotel slipping.

5. attention to details is flawless: So many amenities provided (automatic lighting in the closets, roomwide lighting controlled from a nightstand, choice of solid or secure vented entry door (the vented version allows a fantastic breeze from the lanai to drift through all night).
