4. When we first arrived to our Hotel it was already dark out so walking around the area the hotel was at this time looked shady so it seemed like the hotel was in a shady place too as their was a guy who looked to be trying to call someone down from the apartment beside the hotel looking for drugs.
"Good value for what you pay for, close distance to the strip! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/8/2012 Vote
5. Giving it a spa like feel from cozy robes hanging in the closet, orchids around the bathroom, to hot and cold tea, lemonade and coffee in the lobby at your 24 hour disposal made it just that extra special.
"unexpected oasis " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/23/2012 Vote
6. The rooms are very 'cave like' in some respects, although they do have balconies with sliding glass doors with helps.

7. She had an attitude like it was our fault, and that we should feel bad for bringing our problem to her (I actually hesitated going to front desk because she might be there) Needless to say, I had to call again and someone came up.

8. I would highly recommend this hotel as it is very close to the beach but mostly because it felt like a home away from home.

10. For first-timers going to Waikiki, I'd recommend this hotel, and if you are trying to save a few dollars, then consider staying at the Aqua Bamboo's neighboring hotel a block away (but definitely at this end of Waikiki due to the close proximity to the beach and amenities) and to avoid north east Waikiki due to it's distance to everything, unless you like walking.
"Best place I've stayed so far in Waikiki " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/4/2012 Vote
