1. Air conditioners were noisy but we just used the fan and that was cool enough and quieter.

3. Other reports speak of the noise of buses on Kuhio Avenue, but we successfully muted that by requesting a unit on the upper floors and by using the airconditioning (rather than the tradewinds, which otherwise were quite cooling) when streets got noiser in the evening.

4. The pool area was small but just what I needed to lay in the sun, away from the crowds at the beach, to tan and take a dip to cool off.

5. It's like an Oasis from the main strip,where after a day about, you can come back, relax, and cool off around the small but well appointed pool area.

8. The wall mounted air conditioner makes noise but did its job cooling; we simply shut it off at night and left the patio door open (the outside air was quite comfortable at night).
