1. The only bad thing was there was construction going on, on the balconies facing the pool so there was some noise from this from 9am - 5pm daily.

3. There was construction that started at 9am but It didn't bother us and we were out the rest of the day.

4. It is a good motivator to get out of the room and get moving; you didn't come to Hawaii to sleep, right? If you need to get away from the noise, the lanai is almost completely immune, so a nice cat nap in the sun will make you forget all about the construction.

5. On the topic of construction, yes they are refurbishing the exterior and yes it is loud during the week from the hours of 9AM to 5PM.

6. Only stayed for 2 nights and then the hotel staff moved us to a sister property - Aqua Surf - which is on a side street and not under construction and so much quieter.
