3. The bed was placed right next to the lanai so access was not as easy and there was only one night stand which did not make one person happy.

4. You are only a block away from all the big oceanfront hotels, so we would walk over there and have lunch or a cocktail, but were happy to retreat back to the Aqua Bamboo.

The exterior of the building was looking a little shabby, but this has since been renovated There was a bit of noise if you stayed on the Kuhio St side of the Hotel, not enough to keep you awake & the view of the hills for the Kuhio St side was amazing :D I have since become a travel agent & would be more than happy to sell this hotel to my client Great work Aqua Bamboo .

6. On one of the nights we were there they had a welcome party, it was a lovely added extra The staff were beautiful, always holding the door open for us, the maids left purple orchids every time they cleaned the room & they were more than happy to organise tours for us / call us cabs The location is ideal .

7. As a young Australian couple we are definitely happy go lucky, but would not stay in a backpackers or anywhere icky.

8. The room was comfortable, I relaxed some nights for a few hours and had enough food and drinks to keep me happy which i liked about having a microwave, stove and fridge so if I was hungry or thirsty i didn't have to go anywhere to get it.

9. The front desk lady condescendingly told my wife of course she is not going to charge us and that we should be happy because she was upgrading us to a room 2x better than our last room.
