2. The management has designated certain floors and areas as quiet areas, so if you are a light sleeper you might want to request that.

3. I attended a conference at the Marriott; the hotel is deally located a short walk from the Metro station, but up on a hill so it's relatively quiet.

Obviously I like this property, it isn't new but is has class, charm even for a large hotel and the Wardman Tower, if you like the high ceilings , extra space even in a standard room, quiet, a view (my room looked South towards the Washington Monument) and the ambiance and charm not found in many properties in DC.

5. It may be located in a quiet residential neighborhood, but it is grand, first class and just a 10 minute ride to the Monuments on the best subway system I have used.
