1. I would have like free wifi but it seems at a place this large that wasn't an option.

6. I have stayed in just about every Marriott in the DC area and would say that if you are on business (or just want to see the central DC sites like the Capital and Smithsonian), you are better off at the Marriott Metro Center or the Renaissance downtown which are in walking distance.

8. Obviously I like this property, it isn't new but is has class, charm even for a large hotel and the Wardman Tower, if you like the high ceilings , extra space even in a standard room, quiet, a view (my room looked South towards the Washington Monument) and the ambiance and charm not found in many properties in DC.
"Location - Service - Ambiance - Special Character " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/20/2012 Vote
9. The service is mixed at best and often just bad, the convention room rate might be attractive, but you will overpay for everything (particularly any onsite business services), your food options are not good, and by the end of a five day convention you will be very, very happy that you are leaving (no matter how much you like DC, and, especially, if you like good hotels).
"It makes you appreciate staying home " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/14/2012 Vote
10. They gave us as many pillows and towels as we asked for (I like several pillows).
