6. I scored this sweet hotel off of Priceline for $67/night during my last two nights in the nation's capital (note: October 2009) but the upgrade to a junior suite was all due to positive karmic energy (and a great front-desk gal - Georgia from Italy).

10. One more positive aspect of the hotel is its proximity to various restaurants, including Indian, Italian, Thai, Chinese, a Baskin Robbins, a nice spot called Open City, and a Chipolte just a block away.
