1. The hotel seemed a little out of the way for major attractions but there is a convenient metro station down the small hill from the hotel.

3. Very easy to get to this hotel using the subway from the airport, and the subway makes it very easy to get to all the major attractions from there as well.

The service is mixed at best and often just bad, the convention room rate might be attractive, but you will overpay for everything (particularly any onsite business services), your food options are not good, and by the end of a five day convention you will be very, very happy that you are leaving (no matter how much you like DC, and, especially, if you like good hotels).
