1. October is a great time to go because its mid-Autumn -still warm enough to avoid a coat, yet cool enough to walk the streets at night and take in the (quiet) nightlife.

7. The fridge compressor (or whatever it`s called that makes it work) would heat up, the cabinet would contain the heat, making the fridge hot, and making the fridge have to work pretty hard to stay cool inside.

8. While the hotel has done away with the stocked refrigerator, instead of just leaving the unit there so you might be able to cool something, they didn`t.

9. Con`s:-The Wardman Tower (historic section) has its share of operational challenges - most of which I experienced - including antique, erratic plumbing, cracked plaster, and an ancient heating and cooling system.
