1. What was most annoying is that both he and the morning manager seemed to pass off the smell like it was nothing, and made no effort to really investigate the smell.

3. The front desk manager came to investigate and promptly agreed the room smelled like cigarettes and moved me to an equivalent room.

4. There is a small list of negatives, however: the bathrooms are very tiny, the bathrobes were scratchy and seemed old, and most importantly, when I arrived back at 2am my room smelled like cigarettes.

8. Perhpas that could be included as a question upon making online reservations?I too had an issue with our AC and mentioned it to staff upon leaving, along with the slight smell of damp dog that continued throughout the weekend.

9. It was also nice seeing guests with their dogs - it made it feel less like a hotel (there were no animal smells in the room or common areas).
