The lobby and restaurant are nice but the rooms need upgraded and are very dated (worn carpet,
bad
lighting, depressing bathroom).

It's not a
bad
area, but my friends who live in DC told me not to go running by myself when it was dark out.

Nothing
bad
to say really - except the folks in the next room were throwing some kind of party until 6am - when I was awoken at 4am -- I called downstairs, and whatever it was the staff told the people making the noise, it worked.

For a Kimpton hotel, this was a surprising -- and
bad
-- first impression.

Great location near DuPont Circle, reasonable price, a little "beat up" inside, but not in
bad
shape per se.
"Good, not great. Excellent price for location "
