3. I arrived three hours before the check-in time and was told I could check into a smoker room immediately, but would have to wait till 3pm for a non-smoker room (which I had requested).

4. also, when we checked in, there was a thick smell of smoke and ashes in the ashtray on the counter, which was also dirty (we are non-smokers and can`t stand smoke).
