1. We did experience issues with noise though - The rooms had an outside corridor, and any noise from neighboring rooms (and the car park area) could easily be heard in the room.

Some of my colleagues had minor issues (like with a faulty fridge, one had a problem with a TV, and one was in a high noise area-but hotel was happy to switch rooms for them), but with the guest volume and size of this hotel property, I would consider these regular issues that occur within normal use.
