1. I had to pay a higher price to be switched to one with windows (not a great deal higher), BUT as alam1 points out, it was on the second floor and was noisy, both from inside the hotel and the street.

4. Just beware of the generator/air conditioner noise, mentioned in other reviews, very noisy even with ear plugs, can't say whether all the rooms are like this but for us the sleep quality was bad.

5. I would advise not to get the second floor rooms overlooking the interior of the building, as I can imagine those would be very noisy rooms, as a previous reviewer noted.
