1. Needless to say, we got up and left and walked down to breakfast at a different restaurant which we hadn't budgeted for financially so that was an added expense to the hotel stay.

2. Since parking seems to be the number 2 industry of New Orleans after tourism, it's hard to find and expensive when you do in downtown New Orleans(for example, there is a restaurant just across the street which charges $20 to valet, just for dinner.

4. All in all, I'd stay here again and would feel even better about the stay if it was the normal non-festival rate and not the more expensive rate that was comparable to local hotels a star or two higher in class rating.

5. We had spent two nights in the Sheraton which is next door to this Hotel and while it was more expensive it did not provide much more in the way of facilities.

6. Valet parking is expensive but if you park at the casino its free if you have 30 min of play on your card, very easy for me to do so i never had to worry about it.
