1. But the worst part was housekeeping: our first morning they knocked at 9 am, we told them we would be out in a few minutes but when we came back *after noon* the room was still not made.

2. While there were some very nice and helpful front desk employees, I had one of my worst hotel experiences EVER with one of the front desk workers here.

3. I generally disregard the best and worst reviews and stick with the overall impressions.

4. The shower was the worst, absolutely no water pressure, a dribble.
"Needs updating. Lovely staff. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   9/16/2011 Vote
5. 'Continental' Breakfast is not included in the price of the room and it is probably the worst we have ever had: tea or coffee, a glass of juice, the first day one had to choose between a croissant or toast; the second day, for some unknown reason, one could have both for the same charge.

6. The free wi-fi in our room was very temperamental: at best, it was slow; at worst, it just didn't work for moments on end.
"French Quarter ambience in a quiet locale at a good price " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/10/2010 Vote
7. I called reception and they sent the housekeeper along, who took away the worst-damaged clothes and had them cleaned, same day.

9. The outside of the hotel is was beautiful it was two block from bourbon street the very end of bourbon street in which we had to walk in 3 or 4 blocks to get to the bars, but that wasn`t anything maior we got to walk off the food and booze, but inside the guestrooms it was very outdated the TV channels did not work the whole 5 days we stayed the blankets on the bed were filthy, the bathrooms definitely needs to be upgraded; mold on the shower heads and around the tub, I travel A LOT so I have comparisons and believe me the Le Richilieu is the worst hotel I have ever been in I will not be staying there ever again and this is my second time in New Orleans, the first time we stayed at the Dauphine Orleans, that was a nicer hotel and I believe they gave the dauphine less stars than Le Richilieu.
"Old World Charm; more like Old Outdated Hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   7/10/2004 Vote
10. The worst part was the cigarete smoke smell in everything - the lobby, the towels, bed linens - yuck.
"Great location, not frillls hotel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/24/2004 Vote
