1. I have to assume that the owner has been caught in a double-whammy of a the Katrina tragedy and the awful economy, but that doesn't excuse the layers of grime, peeling wallpaper and leftover hair in the bathroom, and the room prices were too high for the lack of quality.

2. Evidently it is under new management because neither the grounds nor the rooms are as well kept and the service is AWFUL.
