We booked late so we ended up taking one of the corner rooms on the street so there was street
noise
at night (to be expected in a busy city.

you're definitely away from the
noise
and raucous bourbon street crowd at this place which makes for an excellent quiet night's sleep.

I actually had to walk two doors down to ask a party of women to keep their
noise
down--I could almost hear everthing they were saying replete with loud chortling.

Fantastic place to be in the Quarter - over on the quieter side near Frenchmen if you want to be a bit away from all of the
noise
/hectic life that is closer to Bourbon and Canal.

Close to the French market , the trolley to the Riverwalk area , 1 minute walk to Frenchman st for great music and atmosphere , 5 minutes from the heart of Bourbon st but far enough from the
noise
and crowds .
