1. The bathroom was not clean and it appeared that it was not being kept up regularly due to the mold growth around the bathtub.

2. I've had mold in one bathroom ceiling, no hot water, water stoppage mid-shower, really cheap shower heads, torn shower curtains, plugged up toilets, hard to control air conditioners, on/off internet connections, broken lights and everything else I'm forgetting right now.

However, the hotel has single, pane windows, one wall of the room is windows and with the temperature differential, the condensation literally ran down the windows onto the carpet and had apparently done so for a very long time as the carpet was soaking wet near the window and bed and mold was growing on the carpet.
