4. If you don't care about sleep or you can sleep through anything, you would probably like the hotel - especially if you're a 'trying to be cool' smoker.

5. Although I can't see them changing the 'smokers gauntlet' anytime, I would give the SLS another chance because of it's location and as it's a relatively new facility, but I would ask for a room at the end of the hall and up high to avoid the noise from the driveway and partying guests getting to their rooms.

6. For instance while Philippe Starck's signature eclectic opulent style is clearly in evidence, it fights for supremacy on your senses as guests must walk through what is essentially an outdoor smokers room every time they come and go from the hotel.
