1. If anyone has stayed at The Hard rock Casino in Las Vegas I think this was what The Derek was trying to achieve in look on a shoestring budget.

2. Maybe its the 'theme' of the hotel (modeled after a fictional rock star, Derek) or maybe its the many people like us getting a great hotwire rate on the rooms but something seemed to bring in the parties.

4. As you can imagine it was pretty busy with the rock bands and evacuees from Louisiana from hurricane gustav, the hotel was great.
