2. On the downside, the hotel is on a freeway (but then again, all of Houston seems to be on a Freeway.

The bathrooms are a bit on the small side but fine for one person and the toiletries smell nice tooI've ordered room service a few times and each time it's been delivered fast and piping hot, the prices are pretty decent too (but like all hotels, additional charges are added on) The only downside is that there is no self parking, only valet parking, which can be pricey at a little over $20 (i forget the exact amount, either $22 or $23) and when they are busy or there's poor weather, it can take a while to get your carI do love this hotel though, and i will continue to stay here over and over again when i do on my shopping excursions.

7. The only downside for me was the galleria area itself, which has a fine array of restaurants and shops, but is very upscale suburban and doesn't reflect Houston's vibrant diversity of architecture and culture.

8. The only downside is the walls ar paper thin and you can hear everything outside the room including the massive highway noise of Highway Loop 610 that the hotel sits right on.
