1. Sadly, service in the hospitality industry here is lacking and not quite what we're clearly taking for granted in our native Canada.

5. Overall our stay was comfortable, but was disappointed by the pool, we couldn't seem to spend anytime around it due to lack of beds available (there are only approx 8) and it was consistently in the shade.

6. Hotel Derek seems to have the appearance of a nicer hotel but lacks many of the little things that make some hotels so great.

7. This left the bath tub dirty with soap residue; and lets not forget no fan in the bathroom to draw out the moisture to prevent the mirror from fogging up; the towels were a dingy white with no fluff; the banquette seating lacked any amount of cushion and felt as though you were sitting on a wooden box.
