1. My theory is that disturbing as it is that previous customers' smells, germs, etc may linger in a windowless environment, the harsh chemicals that are in most cleaning agents also pile up in there too.
"Nice rooms with great views but the non-opening windows are the deal-breaker for me " Read full review on TripAdvisor   1/10/2012 Vote
2. Additionally, the rooms are VERY CLEAN and the walls must be pretty thick because we weren't disturbed at all (and the hotel was fully booked).

4. But, was the 'I can just about barely be bothered to deal with you' attitude of most of the front desk personnel also supposed to be part of the 'cool' Curtis experience? Asking for a notepad and a pen felt like I was disturbing HM the Queen (or King).
"Poorly Executed Concept. Decent Food. Like Staying in a Paper Bag. " Read full review on TripAdvisor   11/19/2009 Vote
5. If you have young kids or don't want to be disturbed, you may want to stay somewhere else.

6. When we stay in a hotel for several nights we usually do not request maid service every day so we left the Do Not disturb sign on the door but the hotel staff came in every day to make up our beds and leave candy on our pillows.

7. The hotel encourages you to take home their 'do not disturb' signs, which have a variety of fun phrases on them.

9. everything about the hotel is brand new; the beds were comfortable, the furniture was beautiful, the bathroom features a granite countertop and a spacious shower with good pressure, and although other people have mentioned noise issues, i have a very low tolerance for noise and was only disturbed once when we happened to be in the room while the hallway was being vaccuumed.
"fun ambiance + excellent service + great location = a wonderful place to stay! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/9/2007 Vote
10. But I was disturbed by the hotel's turn down policy, which involved leaving the lights and television on each day after cleaning the room.
