From the street entrance at which you leave your car ($20 to park it yourself next door--which is reached by going around the block because they don't tell you until you arrive 10 feet past the parking lot/or $22 to have them park it for you) to the elevators and lobby, the building smells of something unpleasant--perhaps garbage plus cleaning materials.

3. A romantic getaway weekend turned bad quickly when the room had dust bunnies in the corners, the strong smell of smoke, burn holes in the curtains and visible stains on the blanket (not to mention the toe nail clipping that was in the bed - not ours).

The hotel's location is great, very outdated though they've renovated it, only valet parking, and then our bedding smelled, comforter was changed, but it still wreaked badly, keeping us awake most of the night - I would definitely not recommend this hotel because of the lack of hygiene and cleanliness.

8. Bedding smelled badly, they replaced the comforter when I called, but we stayed up because of the smell in the mattress etc.

10. It was a smoking room and I found an unlit cigarette on the side of the night stand which led me to believe the room was not cleaned properly and the room still had a smoke smell in it.
