1. The air conditioner was very noisy, and kept turning on and off with a loud clunk, and a noise like a pneumatic drill, which I can only assume was from plumbing upstairs, would wake us up at 4am.

3. However, the 14th floor is noisy and loud if there is an event in the ballroom above, because the elevators are all on the 14th floor with a short walk up to the ballroom.

4. However the room was big with a large bathroom and very,very quiet, we had 7 nights of peace, no banging doors or loud people walking past, so the view was of little importance as we were out most of the time.

6. This hotel is 1 of the worst hotels in all of boston it is old dirty horrible service terrible service people loud elevators old building could not sleep 2 out of the 4 nights because of noise from 3 am until 7 am no need for a wake up call you'll be awake at 6 am from noise.

7. Our room was next to the ice machine (expected when booking via HotWire), but this ice machine seemed exceedingly loud and made noise 24/7, so if you book via regular means I would be sure to request that your room not be nearby.

8. Walls were very thin - at various times during our stay we heard a dog barking, loud conversations in the hallway outside our door and a rather energetic finish at 1AM in the room next door (actually woke me from a sound sleep - bravo, ladies.
