1. When we called to complain about this, the housekeeping manager came straight away and showed genuine surprise and quickly arranged a better room for us - in that respect the way they reacted showed the quality of the establishment.

2. So we complained to the front desk and they let us switch rooms, sending us up to the sixth floor (totally haunted) to an even smaller room which was FILTHY- dirty carpet, old soaps in the shower, a half-drunk bottle of evian.

4. Staff friendly, bar nice but closed early beautiful old hotel, room small didnt complain about ac vent smell like food cooking in restaurant was only there few days and wasnt in room long.

6. I am sure that many guests complain about these 'Moderate Rooms' and the hotel staff is used to moving guests to better rooms if available.

8. When we noticed a mouse sticky pad in the corner of the room with a pretzel on it, I called and complained and they were able to find me a king non smoking room right away.

10. Let me start by saying I know I should not complain about staying at this hotel for $84 a night, as I found them through Priceline (I never thought a hotel of this caliber would be on that site.
