1. I wouldnt let the thoughts of noise (either construction or people based) keep you from staying at this hotel, it was really not an issue.

2. We didnt experience any of the negative construction noises that some of the other reviewers seemed to notice, but that could have just been due to where our room was located? It was a very quiet hotel overall.

3. Patrick's day weekend, there was a TON of noise and commotion out on the street, which was easily heard through our windows, even though they were closed.

5. Admittedly outside noise isnt the hotels fault, but they would of known how noosy our room was at the weekend, so why not warn us at check in or offer us an alternative room?As a HHonour Gold I got a free breakfast in the 'resturant' i have never been waited on in a Hilton by staff wearing jeans.

6. My partner luckily had earplugs, but i didnt and despite going to bed at 10pm i didnt sleep till at least 3am due to the noises from the pubs/clubs outside.

9. The comments we had read about room noise on Friday and Saturday nights proved correct, and flying in on a Friday from the UK to be disturbed for 2 nights was offputting, but we were staying in the Financial District and downtowners party so we were prepared for this.

10. We found there was a lot of street (and hotel) noise on weekend nights, especially when the bars let out, but otherwise our stay was fairly peaceful.
