1. I wouldnt let the thoughts of noise (either construction or people based) keep you from staying at this hotel, it was really not an issue.

2. We didnt experience any of the negative construction noises that some of the other reviewers seemed to notice, but that could have just been due to where our room was located? It was a very quiet hotel overall.

3. Also, the hotel is (was) undergoing external restorations so at the early morning hours we could hear (and see) construction workers outside our window.

4. The hotel is undergoing major renovations, but was not bothered by the construction site because I was out most of the day and only returning after 7PM.

5. Suggestion: I was ok with not being able to see out the window but if you are planning on booking this hotel I would suggest requesting a window that isn't affected by the construction because there was a large section that wasn't covered.

7. Noisy construction outside our window (on 4th floor/room 418, although we requested a high floor) and workers went up and down ladders during our stay/should have thanked them for not looking through our curtains, which could not be completely drawn.

8. No gift shop or store in hotel so therefore no milk, no air conditioning and it was 87 degrees out, hotel under construction no mention of on website.

9. We were not affected by the construction, but it was very warm in the hotel, but it was understandable with the unseasonably warm temperatures that they were not ready to switch the system over to air conditioning knowing that cold days were still to come, and did.
