2. Before I arrived at the IP i had seen the reviews on here and expected to walk into a hell hole with dirty rooms that weren't cleaned, terrible lifts, rude staff etc.

The good: Excellent location on the center of the strip, very affordable, excellent breakfast place available (Hash House)The bad: Rooms were poor (and not terribly clean), the beds weren't great, the casino was abhorrent (in both value and appearance), the elevator/hall layout is literally a maze, etc.

No one was eating at the resort - in fact, overheard more than one person joke about how terrible the buffets were compared to other resorts-the room decor is at best an outdated Motel 6-esque atmosphere-stayed somehow in a room behind the IP-actually had to exit the hotel through an 'Exit' door sign, more like a parking garage converted to rooms.
