2. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is because of the overwhelmed, sometimes grumpy staff, and some of the overpriced bars and restaurants.

3. It seemed the further you went down the strip in the opposite direction, the hotels became very run down (with the exception of City Center, which was nice and new, albeit gaudy and overpriced).

7. The shoppes and Grand Canal were quite entertaining, though they are largely the overpriced 'boutique' style stores we care little for - being so close to Fashion Show mall and the outlets meant that us normal folk didn't mind too much.
