The
lack
of attention to detail like that is what keeps me from giving this five stars.

The drinks there are decent but over-priced, and the meals are
lack
ing for the price point - my husband and I split the steak/lobster meal, and the presentation on it was horrific.

The real problem, though, with the Hilton Waikoloa was the absolute
lack
of any decent food on the property and the fact there are no other options outside.

The Hilton Waikoloa has a strong Asian emphasis in decorating and restaurants as you might expect since they apparently have a large Japanese clientele, but it strikes me that what this property
lack
s is a medium priced American style restaurant.

Its not the price that bothers me about this place, its the
lack
of value.

Though there wasn't a sand beach right on the ocean, Hilton made up for the
lack
of a natural sand beach by creating a saltwater lagoon which has access to the ocean.

The biggest issue is the
lack
of any beach - the place is plunked down in a lava field.

The resort is huge and the

The facility itself is very nice - and in fact was quite sparsely occupied judging by the low number of other quests we encountered and the
lack
of cars in the parking lot.
