1. This is neither bad nor good, just a matter of fact although there's a lot to do on the hotel grounds.
"OK experience, probably a better option for families but be prepared to pay for everything! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/22/2012 Vote
2. - museum like displays with artifacts from asia and pacific islands along walk corridors connecting between buildingsthe bad - the restaurants are expensive, i guess it's expected at a place like this- not so great a place if you hate to walk- parking lot is a bit far away, but you are on vacation, what's the hurry?- no long streches of beaches, only patches of small beaches to one side of the hotel, takes some walking to get there.
"it's a huge hotel! " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/8/2012 Vote
3. I have very few minor complaints, but given the great price we got for a package for four, I can't say anything very bad about this trip.
"Great Family-Friendly Hotel on the Big Island " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/19/2012 Vote
4. Lots to do for kids, huge pool, lagoon with swimming and rental activities which was nice but it is badly in need of a remodel, particularly for the rooms.
"Nice property but badly in need of remodel " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/15/2012 Vote
5. Wouldn't be so bad if you haven't changed time zones.

7. It's too bad, this place was built for a family like ours and had everything we could ever want in a resort.
"Beautiful grounds, amazing accomodations, rude staff " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/9/2012 Vote
8. Also, there is no place in SF where I pay $12 for guacamole, and getting ripped off for sub-par food just leaves a really bad taste in your mouth (or maybe it was the food itself doing that?).
"Underwhelmed - this place has seen better days " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/4/2012 Vote
9. They also have the Dolphin Quest thing, which I personally find horrible - seeing those dolphins swimming around in such a small, enclosed area just breaks my heart (as an aside, you'll also find African Cranes on some of the 'islands' around the hotel and the tram will talk about watching them jump around on the dirt to kick up bugs - what the tram fails to mention is that when they do so, you see how badly one of their wings has been clipped to make sure they don't fly away, which I also find terrible).

10. I think its where they send you when you've been bad at the front desk.
"Disneyland of the Big Island could learn a little something from Disney " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/2/2012 Vote
