2. Housekeeping was always very efficient however, avoid the corner rooms because you will be woken up early in the morning as that is also where housekeeping has their supply closets.

3. We are walkers and sometimes we take the hilly route over to Fisherman's Wharf, but we can avoid the steep climb and take a flat route along the Embarcadero.

5. Sometimes it was better to walk a block or so and catch one on the next street up to avoid sitting in traffic for a long time.

6. Wi-fi is available, but there is a charge (and should be included in a hotel of this class), but if you really want to avoid that, Starbucks is directly across from the front door of the hotel.

7. I knew it was a chain and wouldn't have 'local flavor', but also knew it would have good size rooms and we'd avoid the 'boutique but tiny' conditions at some others.

8. Though I support the picketers, I do have to commend the hotel lobby and bellman staff for how they tried to make the hotel guests feel safe, secure and avoid the picket as much as possible.

10. It is ok as it is in a good location for visiting the hospital we had to go to and we were in town and avoided the morning traffic to get to our appointment.
