1. It's hard to believe the hustle and bustle of a big city is right outside your room.

Bad points (from really bad to annoyance): TERRIBLE wifi (extremely slow, hard to connect to, disconnects very quickly) - worse aspect of the hotel;check out took more than 10 minutes; poor water pressure in the shower (probably because of LEED certification)very small closet; very small and cramped lobby (if there are more than 3 or 4 people checking in or out, the hallway to the elevators will be blocked); 'fitness center' is a joke (two of the three machines were out of service); shower curtain rod was falling down.

6. Again, we had to press the toilet handle hard (felt like it was lifting a bucket) to create the pressure, thus a weak flush.

8. We stayed in a very upscale hotel in Monterey which did not offer free wifi nor free movies so, in retrospect, this was a wonderful perkThe only downsides were the bed (a bit hard) and the lack of knowledge that the staff seems to have.
