1. Our room was on the 9th floor, at the back of the hotel so experienced no street noise from busy San Francisco.

9. First-time visitors may want to be closer to the Bay and bustle, but people who want to troll Chinatown and Union Square (and avoid the noise of actually staying in Union Sqaure) will enjoy the Orchard Garden.
