1. At the end of the day, it's a nice hotel but given the various other options, chances are unless they clean up their first impression issues I've had with them I don't know if I can vouch for it being a top choice in NY, nor recommend it to people who hold accountability and communication standards to staff.

4. On check-out I mentioned a sewer smell in our bathroom one morning, too early to ask for a room change, and it went away eventually, so I did not pursue the issue.
