4. Beyond that, we had several issues with the hotel: it's inconveniently located WAY over on the West side in an older industrial area with very few restaurants or other amenities nearby; the hotel restaurant itself is VERY over-priced for what it offers; the hallways are a little maze-like; the heat didn't work in our room and needed to be fixed by the staff (which they DID do); and at least when we arrived (around 5:30 PM on a weeknight), VERY loud thump-a-thump music was blaring throughout the hotel lobby (not exactly the most pleasant 'welcome').

5. I really don't get this, it just seems like a low level money making scheme which when you are paying over $500 per night you really don't expect either as an inconvenience or as a form of commerce.
"not quite getting it right-room not as advertised and soiled underwear on the floor " Read full review on TripAdvisor   12/14/2010 Vote
6. While the Hell's Kitchen neighborhood will be inconvenient for some, it is always easy to grab a cab and the in-house restaurant (Print) and room service are excellent if you are looking to stay in and get some work done.

8. For the inconvenience the Ink 48 put me in a fabulous suite overlooking the Hudson - floor-to-ceiling windows, living room, separate sleeping area and a bathroom as big as my kitchen.
"Stunning, well-appointed rooms " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/22/2010 Vote
