2. The wall paper was peeling and actually had a few tiny pieces missing, paint on the door frames was peeling off and cracking, grout in the bathroom was black with age and the ceiling needed to be scraped and repainted.

3. The Corner Bakery next door has good food at good prices and very good coffee for breakfast; avoid the tiny restaurant in the hotel lobby as the service is slow and there is limited selection.
