1. Also, the building is quite old so the plumbing and things were a bit noisy, In fact, there was a weird 'hum' sound that was loud enough that I knew I would not be able to sleep at night.

4. Hotel is kind of in a strange area, not too close to much nightlife, but is really close to the 'el' trains, which worried me at first, but thankfully it wasn't noisy at all in my room.
