So, unless you are very sensitive to
noise
, I would very strongly recommend this hotel.

The walls appear to be made of paper; not only I heard every single word of my (frequently arguing) neighbors, I had hard time sleeping due to the
noise
of snoring, although I had my earplugs on.

When I expressed concern about
noise
from the 'El,' which runs next to part of the building, she assured me that
noise
was not a problem, but that she would put me in a room away from the tracks.

Even though it isn't right off of Michigan Avenue or in the River North neighborhood, it is a short, cheap cab ride to that area without the
noise
(on the weekends).

The
noise
level was also higher than I like, requiring that I keep the air conditioner on all night for the background
noise

As I have stated in other reviews, I am sensitive to
noise
issues at hotels- the walls at this hotel were paper thin, to the point where a person could hear drawers closing and hangers being hung.

We could see the L tracks from our window and were afraid there would be a lot of
